Ditch the diesel engine. I am under the glove box sticker. I believe in canada its the law, stateside as long as you are under 20k per axel you should be fine. Some say if you roll heavy and have an accident you could be held liable. I hauled mine for years with a 1500. I got a good deal on a 2500 so now I just run 2 trucks. The 1500 gets 17mpg the other 10 on a good day.
