To my knowledge, there has never been a post on RV.NET documenting denial of any Warranty work. Canada excepted, I have ask for the vehicle code/s (federal or state) stating the door decals are anything other than manufactures suggestion. Simply stated, I have ask for any absolute documented proof of lawsuits or related actions due to truck being overweight with a TC. I have ask for this information since 2004, and not only has my questions never been answered, they usually have been ignored by those making the claims.
I am making this post to encourage folks to keep the weight subject in perspective. There is nothing wrong with following the manufactures suggestion. It is certainly important we setup our rigs to meet our comfort level. But, do not buy into hype without supporting evidence.
