You may remember in the movie Walking Tall there was a truck loaded with watermelons that was pulled over for being overloaded. The deputies were happy to help the driver "adjust" the weight of his load by carrying a few melons in their car.
I am not saying there are any corrupt LEOs out there..............but this subject gets beat to death and I thought I would add some useless levity.
I would never worry about a few hundred lbs. above the sticker if I knew my tires could handle the extra weight.
