No sense getting silly about a few hundred pounds, but if I am ever rear-ended, I hope the guy is a few hundred or more over gvwr. I should say, my insurance company hopes the other vehicle is overloaded. Four thousand pound camper on a F-250 should be easy to figure out who is at legally at fault. In fact, I would probably provide the estimated weights involved. Judges might not understand how a set of Timbrens and tires allows one to disregard the manufacturers ratings.
