Power Slide Out Motor

I need to replace the Power Slide Out Motor on my 2011 Shamrock 233s (similar to Roo 233s). The motor p/n VT00310R, model# IA06501222-00, 12vdc, 30 amp, 17 rpm, 360:1 ratio. Cannot find anything with above part#, looking for replacement part number for a new motor that will work with my slide out. Thank you in advance.
  • The slide motor wouldn't turn on my 2004 Rockwood even though there was power at the motor. It turns out the brake was defective. In my case, the brake was attached to the end of the motor opposite the end with the gearbox. The brake grabs the shaft when there is no voltage to the motor. When the motor gets voltage to turn, the brake also gets 12V so it can disengage. It was not disengaging, so the motor couldn't turn. I removed the brake assembly off the motor and the slide worked fine. The brake assembly had its own manufacturer and model number, so I called the manufacturer of the brake and they sent me another one.

I don't know if your setup is the same (I have a rack-and pinion drive for the slideout), but you might want to check the brake if you have one.

  • Was you ever able to find a replacement motor for your slide out. I have the same model number and part number in trying to replace
  • You might also check for a loose connection from the battery to the selonoid which is usually found on the A frame of your trailer. I have had that problem before, wire was loose and not making a good connection as a result the slide wouldn't work. Tightened it up and all was good.
  • Your trailer is a 2011, and already needs a new motor?

Have you checked the fuse for the motor? I had that problem last fall. Mine is away from the motor, up in a front storage compartment.
