Primus IQ Questions

Two questions for the primus IQ owners. There are two brackets one has pre-slot brackets for up down adjustment, the other metal you can adjust all the way by just tilting. I put in the pre-set one, has anyone had trouble going up or down a mountain side with the preset one because there are only 3 adjustments.

Second, under deceleration with out the brakes applied will the primus IQ be slowing the trailer down with the trailer brakes or does it only work when brakes are being applied?
