I don't like the looks of bed liners so I don't use them.
I agree about the slide in types, and they also trap moisture which can cause rust in some climates. I really like the factory spray liner on my Ram, though. My previous truck beds have always ended up looking like cr@p to the point where there was more bare metal than paint. I've got a few dents already but so far this thing has held up great. Eventually it may fade some but that's still better than what I've ended up with in the past.
