purpose of roof lights?
Why do 3/4 and above pickups have a row of lights on the roof, but not the 1/2 ton? What purpose do the lights serve, other than working-man's "bling"?

I saw some on a S10 the other night, looked really dumb. Looked like some kind of radioactive bug going down the road. Bone stock BTW :).
