purpose of roof lights?
Why do 3/4 and above pickups have a row of lights on the roof, but not the 1/2 ton? What purpose do the lights serve, other than working-man's "bling"?

Guess I've been fortunate in that department, never had a leak in the cab due to the lights on the roof of the dually. I like the looks of the cab lights also, but never owned a 2500 with the lights on it, nor ever wanted them on the 2500..
