purpose of roof lights?
Why do 3/4 and above pickups have a row of lights on the roof, but not the 1/2 ton? What purpose do the lights serve, other than working-man's "bling"?

Roof clearance lights on 2500 and 3500 trucks are an option here, not required by law. My 3500 doesn't have them, nor would I want them.
