Quality camper

Looking for a well made truck camper for a 3/4 ton 8' bed truck. Not looking for the bells & whistles you see, looking for the built in ones. What do you guys say?
  • S & S or Alaskan Camper make great non slide 4 season campers.

I wanted the S&S. Wife wanted something with a slide. The Arctic Fox is heavy but well equipped. They also make a non slide model that weighs a little less.
  • I just bought a 2003 10' 4" Citation Supreme
Great rig- all the standard features plus fully insulated, double glazed windows, rear kitchen, 6' 6" headroom, full size queen bed. Hard to find but worth the effort. Made by General Coach in Oliver BC. Quality work.
  • I just purchased a Livin Lite Camp Lite 8.6. It isn't as nice or luxurious as my previous Lance 915, but it is well built, seems to have more interior space due to layout, is lighter, and doesn't extend much past my 8 ft bed so I don't need a hitch extension. The Livin Lite is wood free construction and should last. So far I really like it. I think it will fit my needs perfectly. You can check them out at Livinlite.com and you should be able to find one in your price range.
  • Like to stay in the 20-22K range. Really looking for a well made camper. Wet bath is fine, slide don't matter, stove, AC, heat...the usual standard equipment.Doesnt have to sleep more than two.
  • What's your price range and are there any features in particular you are wanting?
