Quality of new campers.

It seems everything made lately is going the direction of high tech, new materials for cost and weight savings and cost cutting. Maybe to the detriment of quality.
I’ve had several TCs, mostly Lance but also AF and BF. With the exception of delamination on the nose of the AF, all were pretty solid and reliable.
I’m looking to get another TC and new Ram soon.
I looked at 7 different new Lance models and am leaning towards a 9-10’ slide.
The 975 with dry bath was a top contender but my favorite was the 995 because it felt so much bigger inside.
I was disappointed in most of the dry bath models as they seem more concerned with just offering a dry bath than how cramped they are in the smaller models.
Also with the tub, it is a big step to get into the shower. I’m pretty nimble but I think for a bigger or older person this may be a deal breaker.
I know weight is a huge consideration but i just think the new ones seem cheap and flimsy and are not going to last as long.
I think my Lance 1191 and 981 was built much better and more solid. The 981 is still one of my favorites.
I think AF is still building with more traditional materials which are heavier but more solid.
I’m researching AF 990, 992 or even the bigger 1100 models now.
I recall AF had some delamination and slide problems in the past. Anyone know if these have been addressed and how is the quality of the new ones?
