If you are talking about flipping the main breaker in the trailer... The surge protector is wired in in front of the power distribution center.
There is a delay when plugging in - but as long as shore power is constant, turn off the breaker as often as you like. Immediately upon turning it on you have power thru-out.
I have mine set for 136 sec. Delay. It's a little annoying sometimes, but, I won't burn up the AC from a momentary outage.
