If it is a 16K GVWR 5er, then yes, highly likely OP will exceed RGAWR. That's DRW territory for sure.
My 5er GVWR is just under 15K (14,995). Loaded I weight 13880 and Im 300lbs under RGAWR (over payload by 10 lbs).
If it's a 14K GVWR he should be okay with a 1 ton SRW.
I can't imagine that Vanleigh being only 14K max weight.
