Using a Wix filter will NOT affect your warranty.
I’ve used Wix in my 6.7 when I couldn’t find Mopar.
No problem.

Yeah, got a Fleetguard under bed filter, but I ordered the wrong Mopar engine filter without the Nanonet by accident. Had to return that one. Prices have gone up considerably over the year on filters...and diesel...and everything else

Yes, I have tried Wix for air filters, Napa Gold and another I don't remember for others.
They all pale in comparison. The air filters will pull down my filter minder a little even when new - showing that they simply don't flow as well. The fuel filters don't have nearly as many pleats (Napa Gold was worst) so wont last as long and the FG's oil filters use their straopore tech (read about it) and are priced competitively so no reason to use others. I have also seen the oil filters cut open for comparison and the FG always have more pleats, better bypass hardware and are generally heavier built and better quality.
I would like to save a buck but found it just isn't worth it.
What ever you do, don't use a Fram oil filter. They are known to kill these engines and Ram even has a TSB to identify the damage they cause.

I remember when I had my 05 6.0PSD and the Wix fuel filters didn't have the aqua block material on the primary filter and would allow water to pass right through the filter. After learning that, I only purchase OEM fuel filters and never had a fuel system problem with a combined 420k miles on my current and previous truck.

Wix has a nominal micron rating of 2. Nominal, absolute, schmabsolute, whatever. They’re good filters.
