My truck has over 3100lbs of payload. The steering and suspension components are massive. Comparing my truck to any half ton is like comparing an apple and an orange.
Nothing at all wrong with half ton trucks, but after owning this ram, if i can afford it an and can manage it, I'll never have anything but 2500 or 3500 series trucks. I really like this ram.
Not all Rams. Mine has 9k lb payload with enough rear axle capacity to handle it - Ford also has a comparable truck. GM was loser in this payload when I was looking because they no longer have their Kodiak.
