Perhaps there is a lawyer on this forum who wouldnt mind looking this up on e-carswell ...if you know a lawer ask them to look it up.
As far as I know, here in Canada I have only heard of comercial overweights being liable.
Having said that I see things are changing, I was recently stopped with my 5ver on the truck to verify that I had the correct license (need a PDL for my RV)
