Mine was right around 3000# too. The Power Wagon has a lover GVWR than the normal Ram 2500. The Ram 2500 Cummins he looked at was probably a MegaCab.
You are probably correct on the Mega Cab. My Mega Cab 3500 SRW Limited with the Aisin is a hair over 8,700#. The Aisin is a little heavier that the auto in the 2500's and the leaf spring set up with the air assist system will also be heavier that the coils on the 2500.
