OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

Somebody sure trashed this thread somewhere along the way. I only read the last two pages but see I'm not going to learn a great deal..I'm (kind of) looking for a 7.3 PSD Excursion, but not sure what I should be looking for. My 454 just keeps going without problems, but I'm down to 35 MPH on some of these 8% grades, and this is OK, but looking for just a bit more power. Towing only...I've got a couple of 30+ mpg cars in the driveway for everything but towing.
