OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

Not to many back there. On paper the hp thing looks good but the heavy rotating mass of the diesel will keep it going when the gasser is gasping. I don't have anything against gassers or any of you guys. I enjoyed it a lot. But you couldn't tow my trailer any place I go.
I agree with thunderbolt. He's a good friend if mine and I know where we tow. I pass Chevys with the big 8.1 with half the trailer. And I know they're trying to pass me, the look on their Faces. So say what you want about diesels. I barley stared putting money In my truck after 200k. Till then it was tires, oil, and filters. My family had the V10, okay puller, but nowhere near a diesel, sorry just not going to happen.
