Rear brakes wearing faster because of high tongue weight?

My 2002 Suburban 2500 is in the shop today getting an oil change and rear brakes replaced - pads and discs. The mechanic said the brake are wearing unevenly and faster than usual and that this is dir...

I get about 60,000 from a set of brakes...they don't wear out that often unless you tow every day.


How often are you replacing the rears?
