From other forums (jeep) they do good work, no personal experience though - PDX_ZsExplorer4wheelparts? Maybe. Some are good and some are horrible. It seems more of the latter.
I would strongly recommend you tap into the local Jeep community. That crew is forever changing gears and will put you in touch with the shop that can really set them up right.
BTW, what are you changing from / to? - NCMODELAExplorer2011 ford e350 v10 5spd. CCurrently 3.73. Idk if I go to 4.10 or 4.56.
- blt2skiModeratorNot sure if still around, 4lo.com you could put in tire radius, final trans gear ratio, rpm wanted, speed, it would tell you axle ratio needed. You night find a 4.33 being a good option too.
Marty - garyp4951Explorer IIIYou could also call TN offroad shop.
If you have a dually its a Dana 80, or SRW is a 10.5 Sterling
If you are running over size tires I would go to a 4:30 or 4:56, but if stock a 4:11 or 4:30
Probably $1000 parts, and $500 labor ball park. - PDX_ZsExplorer

I strongly suggest you go check out a gear chart for your particular vehicle.
Jumping one ratio to 4.10 will barely be noticeable. Only a couple or three hundred rpm at highway speed.
Figure out what rpm you want to cruise at at work it back from there. - dodge_guyExplorer II

I would recommend 4.56! I have an 02 with the 4 speed auto and part of me wishes I would`ve went to 4.56 even with the stock size tires. I went from 3.73 to 4.30 and it was a night and day difference it tows my 9200lb TT with no issues. With the 5 speed 4.30 would be good, 4.56 would be great.
BTW, is this an every day driver or Tow Vehicle only? That may make a difference on whether you go 4.30 or 4.56.
I would also recommend a custom towing tune from 5 Star Tuning. They are the go to tuner for Fords Triton powertrains, specifically the V-10 4 and 5 speed autos. the difference is truly amazing. between the gear change and the tuning it will turn your E350 into a towing monster!
And wherever you choose just make sure you do a lot of research on them. you want someone that has done them a lot. check out the reviews if available, or ask in depth questions, such as how they do it and what all do they replace? - Ron3rdExplorer III4wheel parts is a chain of stores, kinda like Camping World. Hard to say good or bad about them in terms of service, I think of them as a place to buy something, not to have any work done there
