I'm not surprised. There is a used dealership near me that sells only diesel trucks. All of their inventory has between 120,000 and 325,000 miles and based on age and mileage they're priced from $15K to $30K.
The diesel truck market is just insane. I got my '14 Ram in the fall of 2015 for the low $30K's with 72,000 miles. I now have 125,000 miles on it and I have no doubt I could turn around and sell it today for exactly my purchase price. BUT I WON'T!!!!!! I couldn't come close to replacing this truck for that price. If I play my cards right, this is the truck I'll have for the next 10 to 15 years.

My '09 Silverado was going for $10,000+ more as a diesel for sale on cars.com, etc.
Made me wish I had paid the $8000 extra for the Duramax when I ordered it.
That premium was a big influence in me getting my new Cummins.
