Regular gasoline priced higher than diesel
Today, in Denver, I saw something I haven't seen for a long time: gasoline more expensive than diesel fuel. Regular gasoline was $3.789 and diesel was $3.669. Has anyone seen this anywhere else?

- I saw that too, but I'm just south of you in Colorado Springs.
I just got back from house hunting in VA and gas there was $2.99 at Sams! Then came back here and it's around 3.79. I don't remember what diesel was in VA. - Long Island NY status quo continues, 40-45 cents more for diesel.
- Well try Maine. Crossed the border from New Hampshire and diesel was $4.20 a gal. All along the southern coast OF MAINE,As soon as I passed Portland it was $3.78 a gal. Was told by the state that they can charge anything the want.So beware of the gouging in southern Maine.
- I was at a station in April along I 5, about 35 miles north of the Grapevine, and gas was $5.09, while diesel was a reasonable $3.85. Both stations at that freeway exit where having a "Gas War" of sorts, and charging $5.09 for regular. I took a picture too!
I filled up about 15 miles further north at a T/A Mobil gas station for close to $4.00 per gallon.
Fred. - Yup, here in Oregon, regular is $3.79 and diesel is $3.72.
- Gas being more than diesel I believe is just a regional anomaly.
It won't last. - "Regular gasoline priced higher than diesel."....shush.
If the oil companies find out they will do something about it... - Maple Ridge $1.399/L for both, but diesel was $0.05/L cheaper last week
- In Tucson gas is $3.17 and diesel is $3.49.
- Regular is about 15 cents cheaper in my area 3.79 to 3.94.
