REMOTE START FOR DIESEL TRUCK
For those of you with the new GM DIESEL trucks...is it possible to get remote start on a diesel truck?

You can do the same through the factory Onstar although I've never understood why you would want to start you truck from so far away.
My 2012 Duramax came with factory remote start on the key fob. Its nice on a diesel when its cold out. THey take about 2x compared to a gas motor to get up to temp.
A nice option I have on my new Ford is the built in electric heater element in the cab heater that gives you instant cab heat until the regular heater warms up. It has sure come in handy lately with the single digit temps.
