REMOTE START FOR DIESEL TRUCK
For those of you with the new GM DIESEL trucks...is it possible to get remote start on a diesel truck?

- Yes. I have it on my 2013 3500 dura max, and used it yesterday when it was sub-zero here in MN.
- Can't say for GM, but my 2012 F350 diesel has it.
- My 2013 Ford Diesel came with it. Don't know why a GM couldn't have it. They should have a built in time delay for the glow plugs.
- My current diesel truck does not and its time to start thinking about a new diesel truck and making a list...
- Don`t know for sure on newer ones (I`d assume they have it), but my 08 has the remote start and it works great.
- My truck has remote start
- The only limitation I've heard of is that it has to be an automatic. I intended to have autostart on my Dodge 2500 but it's a manual.
