Those are the ones I was thinking of using with the vent hole in the camper side. :)

Thanks, I have also been considering simply using a hole saw to cut a couple of vent holes in the side of the camper and the battery compartments in the dinette, line them using those white plastic battery boxes I've seen, and vent them that way.

Putting little lower power fans on those vent openings wouldn't be a bad idea.

One hole for exhaust with a power fan, one without a fan for intake, two wholes for each battery.

I have those type battery boxes with the snorkel vent. I used a sniffer and those boxes don't vent with a darn. So I put a fan on the vent and that did the trick. I found a tiny fan that fit inside the tube part. I have two battery boxes. One box connects to the other. Each has a vent. Each battery will be in its own compartment, making up the two seat boxes of the dinette. I have to find them again, but I did see some basic rectangular white plastic boxes that had lids that were a nice snug fit, unlike the standard trailer battery boxes where they protrude a ways.

Joe, try West marine or you can buy the one I have holds 2 grp 31's side by side.

The best Battery box has 2 outside vents one at the bottom and one at the top. That is the safest design.

Aye, however, I never understood exactly how those worked, given the battery completely covers the bottom vents on all of the main RV models.

My fifth wheel had that design before I modified a large marine dual golf cart box (I hole sawed a hole in the top and attached the vent assembly from the original box).

I was able to find all I needed from LOWES Plumbing and Hardware including the panel vents... Any plastic box with lid will work and add a flex hose with vent on the end...

Even the ACTION PACKER boxes work great. My GP24 Interstates fits perfect in one of FILE FOLDER boxes with a lid from WALMART haha...

Or if you want to spend some $$ there are plenty of BATTERY CASES listed on GOOGLE Search and AMAZON to pick from... Search for RV BATTERY CASES

This would be something the dealer would have in stock as well because I imagine alot of buyers want additional batteries installed.
