Ya know; there was a time when I went 5 mph over the posted speed limit and just had to get to wherever I was going faster. Next month we are going from Wisconsin to Arizona for the second year in a row and travel 300 to 500 miles a day. It takes a week to travel there and week to get home. I’m obviously not in a hurry and travel mostly on the Interstates. Now I set the cruse at 65 & let most of the world pass me by and I’m OK with it. I try to keep a safe distance from the 18-wheelers and I find myself taking pleasure in the journey a whole lot more. I guess retirement can do that for you; enjoy while you can.
