Don't forget the gutters! That's where all the dirt hides.
This^^ I do mine with Spic and Span in June (after the TT has been out of winter storage for about 2 months) and then again in September or October before it goes back in to winter storage. I simply use Spic and Span and a medium brush (as per the roof directions). It looks just fine.
I also spray out the gutters repeatedly throughout the process. I don't think people realize how much dirt/grime they collect and also how easily they clog up. They're so narrow that the slightest thing can impede water flow.
EDIT: seeing the point in the post above this about using household cleaners. The roof care instructions for our roof actually specifies using Spic and Span by name.
