Roof issue

Got on top of my 2012 Coleman CT250GS this weekend to clean the awning as I just staged it in the driveway for an upcoming trip. The roof is curved on this model. I noticed that right above the door, that the rubber material is coming up right at the edge where there is a thin caulk line. In other places, it is tight against the roof. I'm flabberghasted that this is happenong to a TT less than 24 months old. I have no idea what to do about it other than trying to find out if my roof has a longer warranty. Should I call Camping world where I bought it? Is this something I can fix myself? Any advice would be welcome. I took pictures, but you really can't see the problem.

it should be fastened under the gutter strip or some kind of molding for the entire perimeter and the strip be sealed and caulked to prevent leaking…

if I read your description correctly the calk will prevent the leak now but it is sure to fail at some point in the not too distant future…
That is correct - it must have pulled out from whatever was holding it.

It is a DEFECT and should be repaired… it is not normal and shouldn’t be ignored or just monitored…
no edge of the membrane should be exposed and just covered with caulking…
While there are no exposed edges - yet, it seems that the thin caukl seam is the only thing preventing an exposed edge. Wht keeps the membrane tight? Does it go behing the gutter strip? I did not try to cover anything with caulking. This is really annoying on somethig this new.

What do you mean "coming up"? You can see the edge of the rubber where it has pulled from from behind the gutter/trim strip? Or it is simply just loose and not perfectly tight to the roof in this spot?
Correct - it is simply loose and not perfectly tight to the roof in this spot. The caulk seam is still intact. The loose rubber part is appx. 3 inches long. It wasn't like this when I covered it in March.

It is very common even on brand new trailers and most folks do not do anything to it unless the area becomes larger, begins leaking, or traps air in it when under tow. You will need to monitor it.
