Also, I could be reading too much into it but it looks like you had enough standing water here to create mold.

You are not alone brother. I started taking picture too and just laugh and keep fixing and trying to improve things. I wondered if my rig wouldn't break in half when I started towing it after seeing some of the welds.



My sons Rockwood had a couple damaged membrane spots that ended up damaging his roof. Factory over cut just slightly and the dicor didn't cover it. The dicor had been touched up as needed but one small cut just couldn't be seen until the membrane was sort of stretched apart with two fingers. It was enough to let water in and the felt backing on the tpo roof acts like a sponge.

You could have an over cut area or slice in the membrane. Is the plywood buckling and wavy under the membrane? If it is it's more than the membrane just coming loose.

There is a giant hole in the roof where the AC unit sits on the roof and enters the cabin. The AC unit sits on a ring seal to keep water from coming in and the condensation trap is supposed to deposit the water on the outside of the ring seal. If either is damaged, water will make it to an exposed plywood edge. Sometimes the AC unit comes loose from vibration. Take the grill off on the inside of the camper and see if you can see the sign of any water damage.

That kind of thing is through out the camper. It's everything that you CAN't see is where the shoddiness really shines. I was disappointed initially, but now it's like, whatever. I just deal with it now. I kinda feel that unless it's an AF, Northwood doesn't care as much.

Sorry about the pics. That's the best I could get without removing the A/C.

Those are spare staples put there on purpose. This way they are available for use in other areas by the customer (like fixing jack stand mounts, etc.)

That's a pretty new unit for this to happen. It's a little difficult from that one pic to tell what's really going on.

Can we guess? I'm thinking A/C condensation or seal leak that allowed water under the roof, which in turn might be causing some rot. I'd get it to your dealer ASAP.
