RV Park New Orleans

Can someone recommend a not too expensive RV park to use as a base to explore New Orleans and surroundings. We have a toad so local transportation not a problem.

Thanks in advance.

  • Pontchartrain Landing on France Road in New Orleans is a nice park. It is somewhat expensive, but with Passport America membership, it's about $40 per night....
  • We did stay twice in 15 years spread at Bayou Segnette State Park
Good prices, if I remember they honor senior pass for 1/2 discount, nice big sites with lot of vegetation, the only cons were insects.
I walk via French Quarters RV park. For big $$$ you park over your neighbour sewer and you have post-stamp sized lawn.
  • Easy. Just search for New Orleans in the RV Parks section. Not too expensive?
