I have a free standing table and chairs. To me, yes, to get to the inside chair would be a hassle. To secure chairs, depends. One I had was a pain, this one the chairs hook over a bracket attached to the table.
An option I have, would be to turn the table sideways and 3 chairs, each having their own space. Possibility?
