Scary rollover on NYS Thruway Friday

Saw this just west of Syracuse on Friday afternoon. It was about 3/4 mile ahead of us. Didn't actually see it, but saw the dust cloud. Looked to be a single vehicle which was very lucky because traffic was pretty heavy. I live locally and never heard anything so I have to assume there were no, or minor, injuries, thankfully. I wasn't taking pics just watching where I was going so I'm not sure what TV was.

    Yeah, what is that (TV) with the flat front end (no front engine compartment)? I hope everyone involved got out okay.

    My wifes cousin got killed just E of Syracuse on a motorcycle last year. She and her husband were riding E bnd with another couple and he just ran off the edge.

    I could be wrong, but from the looks of the lower portion of the front bumper, I think it is a Nissan Frontier or Pathfinder.

    I thought Nissan as well; it appears the grill comes up with the hood like an older Ram, so I was thinking either Nissan or Toyota...

    I can't be sure, but as I went by I thought I saw a Yota emblem on the rear of it. Possibly a Sequoia?

    Yep! I think you're right, mooky. If you google images of the Sequoia, the lower front it is similar to the Nissan, but with a squared off section around the fog lights.

    I was looking at it wrong. That's actually the inside of the open hood. At first it looked like it was a flat front end and the steer tires were far forward. Like an old Ford van (which would make no sense considering how new/clean the undercarriage looks.

    Mooky seems right...looks like a Sequoia.

    Hopefully no one was hurt! We traveled on that section of the thruway earlier this summer. The road is in terrible condition and we pay for the privilege of driving on it. It is a wonder that there are not more accidents.

    Looks like a class-c will be the guaranteed purchase for the rental fleet across from the rollover.
