SD trucks do not get speeding tickets?
Road and Track I know when we were test driving a F-350 6.7L for the first time my wife was up to 90 before she knew it, heh. And she doesn't have a lead foot either.

Just amazes me that the speed limits on many roads in OR can be mind-numbingly slow, some are deservedly slow, other roads should not be. Of the 9 years I lived there, early on in that time they passed the law to increase limits to 70mph. But no where did I ever see a 70mph limit in the remaining 6-7 years I was there. Still not sure a 70mph speed limit exists in OR.
I know a lot say it is because of the weather you get in OR but cross the boarder into WA, same roads/conditions and the speed limits go up, I5 being a primary example. It's not like we are driving 1960's engineered cars anymore.

well, my tickets weren't in oregon they were in washington!
but yes oregon is slow, they have recently increased the speed limit on sections of interstate to 70 now, finally.
The main highways in central and eastern Oregon also got bumped up to 65 and even 70 in one case (highway 95 from Idaho and Nevada). Although even when the 55 max was in place there was an unsaid rule that you'd not get pulled over for 65 unless conditions were such that it was unsafe. I've been passed by OSP while going 65 on more than one occasion on some stretches of highway 20 under the old 55 limits.
What a difference the bridge in Ontario makes. 65 in OR (I know it is 70 now), 80 in ID. The difference is even more revealing in the winter. Dry pavement in Idaho, cross the bridge, packed ice in Oregon.
