Second battery in truck bed

Question

My S&amp;S camper only has room for one battery. Was thinking of putting second in bed below camper battery box for short cable run.Any problems I should be aware of . Will use battery box and protect cables.Just looking for anything I might not be seening in this project. Ideas?Thanks

No problem at all. I'd put a winch plug between them unless you won't be disconnecting it often.

I put 1/side in dead space in front of wheel wells.
Biggest I could find that fit the long narrow space. No maintence type.
Used heavy cable and Anderson connectors.
I’m happy with it/them. Took out house battery, space now storage.
