Yes, I made the parts to install the shocks. The long bar allowed me to locate the upper shock mount where I wanted it, and also spread the load between all three spring hangers. My trailer has the incredibly weak "I-beam" that is made from three pieces of sheet metal welded together. The bar is made from square steel tubing with 3/16" wall thickness.
A side benefit is that the lower shock mount can accommodate a longer shock and is used as a jack point.
You made those parts? :E Your very talented. Do you have a CNC machine and a laser cutter in your garage or something?
