- hornet28ExplorerIt's hard to understand some of you guys. To tender to drive a truck other than for towing. How would you ever have managed when trucks really did ride rough, especially 3/4 and 1T's? My wife has had Caddies and now drives a Buick and doesn't mind the ride in the dually a bit. We take it many times instead of her car and did so even when she had one of the Caddies

I get in my LongHorn DRW and I constantly think and tell my wife how much I LOVE my Truck. Sure it may be EASIER to drive a SRW when it comes to finding a parking spot. That is really the only minor negative for me. I simply look for an end spot and pull up on the curb or park out and take two.
So in the Summer in the NW, which gets the most miles, the 2015 duallie or the 2nd gen SRW? Seems we went to lunch in the 2500.
I know the fealing you're referring to. I felt that way about our Yukon Denali. It was always a pleasure to drive. I really appreciate my Ford when I'm towing but the rest of the time it's just a truck, there's not really much to appreciate. It rides rough; handles poorly; terrible on fuel; accelerates slowly and depreciates quickly. - wnjjExplorer II

Those look like 1 wheelers to me. :D - Me_AgainExplorer IIIWe already haul two wheelers.
- MFLNomad IIThose were a good runner, with decent power. Still be fun to ride, if in good condition. Had a new 82 KZ750 myself, when just a pup. I added the small sport fairing to mine.
Anyway...you should get a mid size cruiser, that you could put in your truck bed, when traveling back/forth, now that you are towing a TT.
Jerry - Me_AgainExplorer IIII have had many MC over the years. Biggest road bike was a late 70's Kawasaki KZ650 SR
Ours had a Vetter fairing. - MFLNomad II

Ron and I both drive our 3500's (DRW and SRW) in the winter as daily drivers. I would not attack a guys bike! Riding in the winter in the SW is special vs staying in the NW in the winter! I have a friend in our park that just got a 2008 Goldwing trike with only 5500 miles on the clock and I am jealous.
No bike attack from me, just saying Ron has some nice options, the hot red truck, and a great bike!
The bike pictured looks like new, and low mileage too. Nice your friend is enjoying it! I am not a fan of the 3-wheeled bikes, just not my style, and IMO, more dangerous. I would likely get a Fiat Spider, or Mazda Miata, to play with, if I moved away from two wheels.
Not sure if you have a bike background Chris? If so, you should get another. It doesn't have to be fancy to get lots of enjoyment. However, often times people in their 50s or up, get their first bike, only to get injured or worse.
Jerry - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIBlow the pic up. I am about 1.5’ from the DS tire hitting the sidewalk. I understand your concern. I am NOT one of those jerks that hang my AZZ over the sidewalk. That sidewalk is at least 8’ wide there.
Surprised no one ripped me for parking in a HC stall without a tag. - mich800Explorer

The only thing that gets me is when doing that it completely cannibalizes the sidewalk hanging the bumper over like that. Even worse when the person insists on having a big drawbar adding even more distance. - Cummins12V98Explorer III
