Exactly what I was thinking.
Mike - coolbreeze01ExplorerGood idea.
The ramp I use to load my 1,000lb RZR cost $300 has a 2,500lb load rating, and is 96" long. - hone_eagleExplorerNot even a option ......yet . Ram bought a inventors patent , and that is all so far.

unfortunately, I have found if trying to buy a vehicle off the lot, not ordered, that a sun roof is really not an option, if you want a fairly decently outfitted vehicle. All of the vehicles on the lot that I was interested in were ordered with them so I have two suvs with one that have been opened about 3 times each, excluding the original check on purchase.
there have been several posts about dealer's not stocking certain configurations that have to be special ordered. If I was buying a 40-50K vehicle I certainly would special order it if that was required to get what I want.

Yes, you are correct. Good point. - PA12DRVRExplorerI bought a bigger-ish (is that a word?, about 12,000 GVWR) flatbed trailer for hauling my Cabin Truck on.....hauled by the F550 plow truck.
This trailer came with ramps and sleeves for the ramps. Ramps are good and stout and rated for about 150% of the loads I put on them. However, they have become (over 6 years) warped somewhat if not bent and as a consequence, they don't fit in the sleeves.
For this trailer, its no problem as I just chuck the ramps up on the flatbed....would that work with the Dodge idea? I'd expect the ramps to get, literally, bent out of shape even in approved use. - Majja13Explorer

Interesting idea, but most people will not want it. But, it is an option, like a sunroof, so you can choose to get it or not get it. It's good to have choices available.

I have noticed that. If you want the leather and nice stereo you must take the sunroof if not ordering. Greedy B******ds - Grit_dogNavigatorBetter idea than some of the dumb gadgets other mfgs are coming up with! Ahem.....auto trailer backing.......
