Sometimes campgrounds are almost like boondocking ...
I thought some of you might like a mini trip report. I know many of you hate rv parks, but sometimes, they really are pretty similar to boondocking. Sure, we paid for the space, but no electricity near us.
One of our favorite campgrounds has a lot of spaces with not much activity this time of year. Sunsets can be nice.
Looking at the space next to us.
Our spot was pretty nice.
Room for a small grill and to cook a meal.
And for good measure, a view from inside the camper. Besides a bit of the view, you can also see the modifications of our dinette which includes slightly reclined cushions, our mini table, and the magazine rack that I built that also serves the extra purpose of holding tablets and phones if the small hexagonal holder isn't. You'll note the wood grain finish on the holder although the magazine rack and table are stained wood. If you are familiar with a Host, you can see the aluminum angles that are also covered with contact paper. Finally, you can see a small bungie holding the screen door. I've attached it to two small d-rings which is enough to slow down my Brittany when she occasionally paws the door.
