Sometimes I feel like a "freak"...
Just got back last week from my 6th trip with my TC.I was at the semi annual Eastern Division Train Show of the TCA in York Pa.
I had a great time out there and this was the second time I stayed on grounds after attending this show for 27 years.I should have done this 10 years ago!
What I find amazing is this event gets a lot of campers of all sorts out there but it seems I am the only one with a truck camper. There are regular trailer type campers both old and new and large RVs some as old as 40 years old and a lot of high dollar diesel units.
I also work for the state highway dept here in NJ and I cut grass between April and November I'm out on a highway that leads to the Jersey shore where there are many campgrounds and I see hundreds of trailers and RVs but now that I notice things like this I saw maybe 2 TCs going down the road all season.
Are TCs just a Midwest and West Coast thing ?
I was there for 4 days and everything went great AC sometimes during the day and heat when it got chilly...
A view of the other campers...
This guy amazes me he drive out from San Diego and sleeps in this for the whole week !
