I disagree, dealers do drop the trade-in value to you but when the buyer makes a comment about how scratched up the bed is you get "well it's a truck right". One way street, with the manufactures all providing factory bed liners there is a up charge in your tread-in value. BTW Ram uses the line-X system.

How does Rhino compare with Line-X ?

I've also had Line X on my last two trucks. The stuff is bullet proof. I can't see any reason why you would have to take it back. Two trucks ago I had one of those plastic drop in type factory liners...I hated it...stuff would slide around like crazy.

I've been told since the Line X is a little harder than Rhino that its more durable...but the Rhino is a bit more grippy. Hell...I'd go with whatever cheaper. When I had it done to my last truck the dealer actually had the LineX people do it for me...it was cheaper than taking it to them myself because they had a deal with the installers.

Can't go wrong with either one, as mentioned the Rhino liner is a bit softer with a little more grip. It comes down to cost for me, my previous 2 trucks had the Rhino liner my current truck has the LineX simply because it was the best deal this time around.

Rhino is a lot softer then Line-X and the main reason I would never have it sprayed in my truck. It is very easily gouged when using a shovel to remove stone, dirt, mulch or anything else. Then when you go back to the dealer they want to charge you to repair it.

Nope hands down Line-X is the way to go.

I have Line X, the regular not the UV protection one. I couldn't justify another couple hundred bucks to make my bed look new. Seems to me that I could just as easily wash it out and apply Armor All if I wanted it to look pretty. I got it Line X'ed to prevent rust.

For what its worth, my Line X has some chunks missing from throwing firewood in the back. Its not as perfect and bullet proof as people claim it to be, but it does do a darn good job protecting the paint and preventing rust.

I have used Herculiner, Rhino liner and Line-x. Herculiner had the best grip but is tough on skin. Rhino liner did not hold up well (peeled & bubbled). Line X is a happy medium. Used them all about 6 yrs each.

This is my second truck that I had Reflex liner sprayed in the bed, its up to 1/4 inch thick and things don't slide around. Had it on the first truck for 9 years with no issues.

I've had all my trucks, company and personal, Line X'd. This last one my local Ford dealer sprayed in. Said it is same as Line X. Looks great, I'll see if it is as durable as Line X

I have decided to go with the Line-X! It was the way I was leaning to begin with, but more feedback always helps!

The local dealer that has the Qwik Liner, I am not real fond of anyway, even though they are about $200 less. I couldn't remember if they have sprayed this for a long time, then while talking to the X dealer, he mentioned Permatex, and then I knew it was X all the way!!! Last time I was in the Qwik dealer, they had Permatex (Qwik didn't ring a bell- I thought it was something else, just couldn't remember for sure!)!!! So what brand will they have in a few years, and what happens those who need warranty work???

Going to see if I can get the truck in next Mon or Tue. Was hoping to drop it off for Fri, but can't p/u the truck untill tomorrow afternoon evening.
