Yeah, $723 for labor alone, they doubled their estimate when they couldn’t drill right through (and once they had a deposit for these and for some Bilsteins, which they’ll install on Tuesday). Thanks for the responses - they were just what I suspected they’d be but I didn’t want to get huffy and puffy without being sure. Another problem was that the invoice on the shipment included a drill but there wasn’t one in the box.
Have had bad luck doing my shake-down cruise in Arizona - no Bigfoot dealer and no one, but no one, will take on warranty work during snowbird season unless you bought from them. Tried several Torklift dealers here but they all declined to install Stable Loads, this time of year anyway, one saying lower Stable Loads don’t fit new F350s! Am thinking I should have bought in the PNW and gotten all the warranty work and suspension add-ons during their off-season.
