Thanks for all the advice! We have D rated tires (purchased new a month ago before we decided we were going to buy the truck camper).
We drove the camper home with only the front tie downs (didn't have the rears installed as of yet). We have the stock suspension only as of now. We noticed that there was a side to side sway (possibly due to lack of rear tie downs). The main concern is the weight bearing down on the leaf springs. The truck was basically riding on the frame and the springs were laying flat. We are looking into helper springs to help level the truck and help on wear and tear.
