Your camper will weigh at least 2000 pounds before you're done. Your actual payload rating for your truck will be less then that. According to GMC your truck has a max weight rating (GVWR) of 6400 pounds. Curb weight is right at 5000 pounds. Nets you 1400 pounds payload rating. Your brakes will take a beating so be cautious here. Go with nothing less then load range E tires. Air bags will be almost a required item and whatever you do don't exceed the gross axle weight rating of 3750 pounds on rear axle. 1/2 ton axles do some very bad things when overloaded. Weigh the truck empty, weigh the back axle only on the scaleand then do it again after the camper is loaded. If you are over the axle rating consider buying a 3/4 ton truck.
