I actually know a lot of people who have had their 5ers and TT inspected annually. Most do it once a year when they have their axles repacked or brakes checked.
Almost all RV dealers and RV repair places can do it quickly and easily. It is a set $14.50 fee.
I've found it better to go to an RV specialist rather than trying to deal with a normal inspection station.
Texas has a huge problem with uninspected vehicles. The change in the law is an attempt to force automobiles and trucks to be inspected before the registration can be renewed.
Motorhomes and trailers (and motorcycles) are just being collected up in the same law. It is not targeted at RVers.
