- 4x4ordExplorer IIIWell if we're talking future I'm going to say there will be a power transmission rail embedded somehow in the roadway so electric vehicles will recharge while driving. They won't need to plug in.

Yes one can do it. If the string has 20 spots they cannot all charge at once plus run the RV.
The EVSE(charger) that I have plugs into the same 50 amp plug as an RV. So as already stated if you are going to be at the campground a while you can charge the TV off the pedestal in the site.
There are some EVSE that can share power and reduce charging speed when multiple vehicles are all charging at once. Changes real time as EVs plug in and again as they finish. 200 amp circuit could supply up to 25 spots if fully utilized. Although right now I believe they just come in sets of 2 to 4.
This is why the EVSE should be campground installed. The user shouldn’t be just allowed to plug in his own EVSE. That way the campground operator can determine the charging current. Better yet let ChargePoint or EVgo look after the administration and hardware maintenance. This is how many casinos, hotels and parking structures do it.
Still wonderin which tree the Forest Service is going to install my future Eve's on...... - Grit_dogNavigator II

Hell, I hope it's not a problem for me either, and God willing I got another 30 years or so! - Bird_FreakExplorer III don't believe it will be a problem for me in whats left of my camping time.

What are park owners doing now where there is heavy use of golf carts by guests? Surely they are charging the carts.
A golf charger can run off a 15A 120V circuit and charge the cart in a few hours. It takes a lot more juice to charge an EV in the same amount of time. EV owners could just plug their vehicles to a 120V outlet, but the charging rate is so slow it wouldn't be practical unless they could have the vehicle plugged in for days on end.- msmith1_waExplorerThe EVSE(charger) that I have plugs into the same 50 amp plug as an RV. - BTW I am still waiting for one of my tenants to ask about getting an EV. I proactively added charging to one house as I was upgrading a bunch of electric already. The condo complex added 10 user pay stations. The rest should not be an issue to do as needed.
