We are looking for a newer truck now. We don't want an automatic but have no choice. We love the truck we have. It has no problems and never has.But it is getting older and so are we and we are downsizing our farm and cattle numbers and this is probably our last chance to get a truck that's just a couple years old.
I want my Fords but might consider a Dodge because of the manual but I'm not willing to take that big a hit on power.
I turned 69 today and I still enjoy driving my stick shift vehicles.
In traffic I like the ability to put it in granny and crawl along behind everyone. Stopping on hills??? not a problem. Being able to crawl down hills with a load behind me without having to drag the brakes is a big + and I hope the newer truck with an auto and 4x4 can still do that.
