The price of wanting a "stick"
Not debating manual vs automatic plenty of threads on that already, however for me personally I like a manual and considering I'm a dodge fan they still offer one. But as I look at the numbers payload...

sounds to me like a "macho" thing. Hey, look at me, I can shift. I also prefer 8 track tapes and CRT televisions.

When I was in high school, we had a substitute bus driver that claimed he couldn't drive an automatic "for medical reasons."
My route had the only automatic in the fleet at the time. He would not drive our regular bus. The bus company would have to give him one of the old backup buses.
I wonder what sort of "medical reasons" prevented him from driving an automatic... He was a mean old cuss and flew off the handle at any little thing, so the bus shifting when he didn't think it should probably drove him into a foaming-at-the-mouth fit of rage.
