Not debating manual vs automatic plenty of threads on that already, however for me personally I like a manual and considering I'm a dodge fan they still offer one. But as I look at the numbers payload...

sounds to me like a "macho" thing. Hey, look at me, I can shift. I also prefer 8 track tapes and CRT televisions.

Because I prefer to do my own shifting doesn't mean I don't like something else. So now if I want a manual transmission I have to cut down the automatic to make excuses for liking something else?
I like Fords and I don't have to try to prove to
you that they are better than Chevy or Dodge , it's just my choice , as is my preference for a manual transmission.
And I can come up with many pros and cons for why and so can you if you haven't closed your mind to the facts.
